About Turquoise Mountain:

Turquoise Mountain is a non-profit, non-governmental organization specializing in urban regeneration, business development, and education in traditional arts and architecture. We seek to provide education, skills and livelihoods to Afghan men and women. Since 2006 Turquoise Mountain has cleared 45,000 cubic meters of rubbish from the streets, restored or built 150 historic and community buildings, created a primary school and a clinic, and installed water, electricity, and sanitation through the historic traditional craft neighborhood of Murad Khani in the old city of Kabul. It has created the internationally accredited Institute for Afghan Arts & Architecture, training the next generation of craftsmen and women in woodwork, jewelry and gem cutting, calligraphy and miniature painting, and ceramics. Finally, it has sold over US$15,000,000 of Afghan artisan products internationally.
This project is aimed to conduct an assessment for the damaged part of front view of Murad Khani for the plan and some maintenance for the TM Compound at Murad Khani
Job Description:

Job Summary
The foreman will report to the Site Engineer and project manager in the sites and supports the Project team in all activities related to construction according to TM policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
·           In charge of all the workers in construction site
·           Assign shifts and responsibilities to all workers according to their capabilities
·           Make sure all the labors have to necessary tools for work
·           They have to keep a copy of the blue print of the building with themselves and ensure all work is going according to the plan
·           Ensure that all the workers are wearing the correct safety equipment
·           Foreman have to see that all the safety checks are in order because construction sites are dangerous places to work and accidents happen quite a lot
·           The foremen have to make sure that all the work deadlines are met
·           Make reports for the supervisor regarding the work done
·           Ensure all safety and company rules are followed
·           Report any site incidents to the site engineer/supervisor.
·           Checking the site before the starting time of the work, during lunch and end of the day.
·           Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
·    Bachelor school degree is preferred
·    At least 2 years in a supervisory, admin or foreman role overseeing site workers.
·    Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
·    Ability to problem-solve and fix routine errors.
·   In-depth knowledge of safety guidelines and best practices
